God's Character Revealed Through His Actions in Scripture
God's character is revealed throughout Scripture not only through direct statements about His nature but also through His actions and interactions with humanity. The Bible presents God as powerful, holy, and righteous, with these attributes consistently demonstrated in His works [1, 3].
One of the most prominent aspects of God's character revealed through His actions is His power. The Scriptures describe God's power as an attribute that is great, strong, glorious, mighty, everlasting, sovereign, effectual, irresistible, and incomparable [3]. This power is manifested in creation, where the "finger of God" and the "hand of God" are said to have brought things into being [3]. Miracles throughout the Old and New Testaments further demonstrate God's power, serving as "marvellous things" and "signs and wonders" that manifest His glory and the works of God [4]. God's holiness is another central characteristic revealed through His actions and commands.
